Founders

Trevor Shanski is the founder of eWORDofMOUTH Inc. A successful executive, entrepreneur, and author, Shanski has written and published three books and lectured to various marketing associations and at the Wharton School of Business.

Trevor Shanski is the former Chief Operating Officer of Warehouse One Ltd., a 100+ store national, retail, junior apparel company based in Winnipeg, Canada. Trevor held P&L responsibility for all aspects of operations including: Manufacturing & Engineering, Pre-Production, Inventory Control, Information Systems, Store Operations, Advertising, One to One Marketing (Internet Store warehouseone.com & Customer Profiling), Real Estate, Store Development, Distribution, Corporate Training, and Human Resources.

From 1992 to 2002 Trevor drove growth of the company from 13 local stores to 108 stores nationally and established Warehouse One as a national, vertically integrated chain with sales potential approaching $100 million.

His diverse national supply chain and small business experience combined with his formal Strategic Management, Operations, and Information Systems education from the Wharton School of Business, make for a top notch corporate Chief Executive Officer who thinks with the creativity, speed, and flexibility of an entrepreneur.

In 2006, Trevor designed and implemented the eWORDofMOUTH on demand Customer Referral, Rewards, and Retention Service utilized by businesses throughout North America.

Trevor Shanski was born in Winnipeg, Canada and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. His majors included Strategic Management, Information Systems, and Operations Research.


Shelley  

Shelley Shanski is the Vice President and co-founder of eWORDofMOUTH Inc.

Shelley maintains the important position of devising web content, system features, and marketing initiatives for eWORDofMOUTH. Shelley is passionate about Web 2.0 online marketing, and played a pivotal role in initially conceptualizing the eWORDofMOUTH service.

She was a former Business Manger for the Gauthier Automotive Group in Winnipeg, Canada, with 15 years experience as a top finance and insurance expert. Her sales performance kept her in the top of her field within all Dealer groups nation-wide. Shelley maintained a large repeat-customer portfolio over her many years in the business.

Shelley graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelors degree in Psychology.

Wadood Ibrahim is CEO and co-founder of Protegra and has been leading the organization for the past nine years. Protegra is a business performance consulting and information technology solutions company with offices in Winnipeg, Canada and San Diego, California. Protegra has been recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in Canada for three years in a row by Profit Magazine.

Roy Grant, Chairman & CEO of CCi Retail Automation Services

Roy has been a partner in CCi for a number of years and has been responsible for growing the company from a one man start-up to its current global market position. Prior to joining CCi, Roy’s experience in IT and retail included being the VP, Large Account Marketing and Partner in ComputerLand Western Canada, Director, Sales with JDA Canada and Senior Vice President and a founder of Infocorp, a publicly traded retail software development firm that went from start-up to global with over 14,000 installations. He has spoken extensively on Retail Automation in Asia and Europe as well as across North America.

Jim Arkebauer, Principal & Management Consultant, Venture Associates

Jim Arkebauer, who founded Venture Associates in 1982, has been entrepreneuring for 35 years in many types of industries ranging from retailing and manufacturing to public company formation and management. He has been instrumental in founding dozens of companies, assisted over 40 in going public, and has been reviewing over 500 business plans yearly for the past 25 years. He is involved in risk analysis and the evaluation of many new technologies, assembling management teams, and structuring and implementing debt and equity placements.

Harvey Ferguson, Bank Consultant and Former CEO, First Choice Bank

Harvey has over 50 years of experience as a senior executive in the banking industry. His experience includes being the CEO of First Choice Bank, President & CEO of Placer Sierra Bank, Executive VP and Chief Administration Officer, California Community Bancshares, President, California Financial Bancorp, and Chairman & CEO of Bank of Orange County, Bank of Downey National Bank, and National Business Bank.

Tony MacDonald, Senior Director Finance at Oracle

Tony has public accounting experience and audit in mid to large size public companies in various industries. He has seed start-up experience raising financing, and extensive international audit experience (Europe, Asia, Africa, South America).

Ted Chung, Associate Director at Bear Stearns, and Chartered Financial Analyst

Ted Chung is a Chartered Financial Analyst and Associate Director at Bear Stearns, New York, in the IT Hardware Equity Research Department. Prior to joining Bear Stearns, Ted was a consultant at Accenture, one of the country's premiere IT consulting companies.

Eugene Chen, Partner, Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP

Eugene has a practice that focuses on securities, corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions for junior and emerging companies. He has been involved in advising public companies with respect to a variety of transactions including initial public offerings, private placements, take-over bids, stock exchange listings, shareholder and proxy related matters, capital pool offerings, qualifying transactions, and mergers & acquisitions.
